Little Dead Space

Level: Little Dead Space
Made By: DarknessBear

Creativity: Although based on a game already made, many people have attempted and failed at creating a good little big planet replica of a true video game. where others fail this one succeeds in creativity, whether hurtling through space to dock with a , or flying in zero gravity the creativity is endless when talking about the level, although it is somewhat short and I feel the creator could have used better use of the level area, the materials used do make the level look like a spaceship.

Dimensions: Little Dead Space is very one dimensional except for a few parts. I found that I wasn't needing to choose which of the 3 dimensions I needed to be in throughout the level, although there are a few places where I had to jump back to climb some stairs or jump into the tram, and the use of the background layer to make the effect of a ship flying through space was incredibly innovative, it still would have been better if there was more use of the three dimensions as an obstacle

Lighting: This Creator used every trick in the book to create the effect of warning signs, darkness, and the feeling of being in a cold dark spaceship that was being attacked by aliens, and although this level is fairly old it is still the best lighting I have ever seen in a story driven little big planet level.

Sounds: There are many machines, monsters, and more things that start with m that make noises in this level. the creator has added the alarms for the red flashing lights, the clangs to the falling elevator, and the roars to the monsters that go bump in the night. there are better sound effects that could be added, but with the materiel's  that the author had in hand he did a fine job. the music seemed to fit the level perfectly, although it was barely noticeable through all the alarms and dings.

Re-playability: not much can be found as far as re-playability, although i found myself going through the level to get ideas for my own creations, there is one secret at the end of the level with some behind the scenes pics and a photo booth which isn't entirely worth the effort of breaking an arm or a leg over (you would have to find the secret to understand).

In all a really good level that makes great use of the materiel's that the creator had, but it still could be better which is why the level gets a 9 out of 10.
