The Cave

Level: The Cave
Made By: MizzleDub23

Creativity: Your objective is to rescue your fellow travelers after they have gone missing inside a dark and surprisingly damp cave. without ruining to much  after you find your objective you are transported to a barn where you find notes that are supposed to lead you to your friends. The story of this level is unlike any I have seen, and possibly one of the creepiest levels I have seen on LBP to date. The bosses are just creepy and cool at the same time and the platforming itself is fun.

Dimensions: The author uses different dimensions to go up and down stairs and create an atmosphere by using the other levels as a background for each setting weather it be the beginning cave, the barn, or the creepy boss fight each background is different in its own way.

Lighting: (Picture lighting is not accurate to level) The lighting is cool at first, but gets kind of hard to see things at times, and although the author gives you a light to carry around, I still got lost as to where I was trying to go. the coolest part about the lighting was when you had to bring it under water with you, and I believe it could be used in other similar ways but for a longer time. as i said earlier the lighting makes it hard to see, and i think the barn could be slightly brighter than the cave, just for the sake of not getting lost.

Sounds: The author uses creepy heartbeats, screams, and ghoulish laughs in order to make the atmosphere exceedingly scary. during the fight scene the author creates his own music by using the piano tones which I was hoping someone would do, although I'm sure someone else already did, this is the first time I have seen it used in a story driven level.

Re-playability: I did get lost in this level, so I'm not entirely sure whether or not there are secrets or not, but what I can say is this level was fun to play and used the effects quite well, and if I can I will try to get some behind the scenes pictures to shed some light on the real level.

This is a very creepy, and very enjoyable level, You should certainly look into playing it at least once. I am giving this level an 8 out of 10 just because it can be difficult to find your way around, and some of the objects in my opinion seem strangely out of place.
